-If you think you have been discriminated against by your employer.
-If you think you have been subjected to sexual harassment.
-If your employer is violating company policies and/or procedures.
-If you need to obtain unemployment benefits.

-If you believe your work conditions are unsafe.
-If you have not been properly paid.

Why should I hire an employment lawyer?
An experienced employment attorney can guide you throughout the duration of your legal matter, and help ensure that your best interests are taken into consideration each step of the way.  Hiring a qualified attorney who is experienced with the complexities of employment law in Massachusetts can make a big difference in the outcome of your case.

When should I contact an attorney?
It is imperative that you review your matter with a skilled advocate as soon as you suspect that your legal rights may have been violated or when you have been presented with legal documents requiring your execution as there are important legal deadlines and steps that must be adhered to in order to fully protect your interests and to pursue the rights and protections afforded under state and federal law.

On Estate Planning:

What are the key estate planning documents everyone should have?
Regardless of your age, health or wealth, everyone should have the following legal documents in place:
1. Durable Power of Attorney
2. Advanced Medical Directive (Living Will)
3. Health Care Proxy
4. Will/Trust
5. Letter of Instruction

On Estate Administration:

What is estate administration?
Estate administration, also known as probate administration/probate, is the legal process by which the estate of a decedent is finalized. During the probate process, all claims/debts against the estate are resolved and the deceased person's property is distributed according to the directives of his or her estate plan documents. If there was no estate plan in place, the deceased person's estate will be processed pursuant to intestate succession laws.

Not all property will necessarily pass through probate, and not all estates require formal probate administration. The necessity and extent of the probate process is dependent upon the nature and value of the assets of the decedent, as well as the existence and nature of any estate planning documents.
