Anne Glennon has been working in the field of employment law for over 24 years. While Attorney Glennon's practice focuses on protecting and vindicating the rights of employees, she also works to protect her clients' civil rights in the housing and educational arenas. She has successfully litigated matters against both small companies and large corporations/institutions, winning jury verdicts and negotiating numerous successful settlements on behalf of her clients. Anne has appeared before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD), the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and in state and federal courts.
Attorney Glennon also assists clients with their estate planning needs. By taking a comprehensive approach to each client’s family and financial situation, she is able to design customized documents aimed to protect their best interests. While attending New England School of Law, Attorney Glennon placed first in her class in Wills, Estates, & Trusts.
Attorney Glennon is admitted to practice in both the state and federal courts of Massachusetts, as well as the United States Supreme Court where she was part of the winning legal team in the case of Fitzgerald v. Barnstable School Committee. In that case, the Supreme Court unanimously ruled in their client’s favor, vindicating the rights of their 5 year old client who was sexually harassed on the school bus and expanding equal rights for women in the education field.
Her trial performance has been described as "superb" by Superior Court Judge Barbara Dortch-Okara. In a subsequent trial court decision in which she was awarded her client's fee request in its entirety, Ms. Glennon was referred to as a "leader in the area of employment and sexual discrimination law," by Superior Court Judge Thomas E. Connolly who further stated, "Attorney Glennon tried an excellent case," commending her for, "preparation, organization and presentation of the evidence in addition to her persuasiveness."
Attorney Glennon is dedicated to her clients, and is committed to assisting them in the enforcement of their legal rights and the protection of their personal assets. Located on the South Shore, Attorney Glennon provides personalized services in your home, in her Plymouth office, and in locations conveniently located throughout Massachusetts.
In her free time, Anne enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
